THE PATH OF STUDY AND THE OPERATIONAL PHASES

Language Point teachers are used to planning their lessons in a way that aids the learning process and suits the various levels and interests of their students. Rather than using a structural syllabus Language Point chooses an essentially communicative lay-out, what the student needs to communicate forms the base of the syllabus' linguistic content. In fact the path of study begins with learning and putting into practice the communicative language functions, followed by pinpointing the grammatical structures and rules of the language.The student will thus be able to communicate in both in written and spoken form, using the progression of: listening - speaking - reading - writing

The phases of programming:

 1. ascertain actual level,  writing and oral assessment level test with a native speaker;
 2. complete a needs analysis and define the objectives of the path of study in question;
 3. draft a personalised path of study (see the table for each language studied);
 4. verify the teaching method (evaluating the relevance and effectiveness); The teacher is able to use this evaluation process both as

     guidance and as feedback on the validity of the didactic methods used;
 5. according to the specific requirements of the class, make a decision on how to intervene in the classroom, how to correct the students,

     how to strengthen the students' skills;
 6. verify if the previously established objectives have been reached;
 7. final test and evaluation of results;
 8. define the level obtained and produce a summary;
 9. certify language skills obtained with a "Certificate of Attainment", which is also valid for educational credits
10. issue a final report on t
he course with individual feedback on the course content, the course teacher's comments and marks and some

     useful advice for future study.
