These courses, available in all the languages taught at our centre, have been carefully designed to prepare students who intend on taking internationally recognized exams and to obtain the best results. All the certified exams verify the four fundamental language skills - speaking, writing, reading, comprehension - at the different levels of competence, which range from using the basics of everyday language through to a more complex and articulated use of the language including social, business and academic topics. The preparation courses are divided by level and type of exam, each with a focus on revising and developing the four language skills and regular use of past papers. This ensures complete preparation, gives the students a clear idea of the exam, and helps them feel confident when taking the real thing. We cannot accept students for any examination course until the Director of Studies has confirmed that they are at an appropriate level to join the class.
- Our standard courses for the preparation of an international exam last 90/100 hours, starting in October and running through to May,
based on twice weekly lessons of 90 minutes and foreseeing the enrolment for a June exam.
- For those students who have already reached a certain level of preparation for the exam they wish to take, our courses can be
designed for 16/20 weeks (50/60 hours of lessons) prior to the exam, usually mid-September, mid-December and
mid-February. For the exams in March and June, again for those students who have already reached a certain level of
preparation, we propose cycles of 5/10 weeks (10-15/30 hours of lessons) each, starting at the beginning of October, January and
the beginning of March. These courses are based on a minimum of 4/5 participants per level.
