Depending on the age and program being taught the summer camp takes place at the school that has requested it for their students, or at other venues devoted to such programs. Participants include pupils of all ages from primary school to high school.
The academic program is organized according to "theme days" with the aim of increasing the functional language skills used in everyday life. This allows the students to combine leisure and fun with activities that develop their potential in their L2. This is done through art workshops, animation games, drama, and a great show at the end of the program.
The educational and entertainment activities used stimulate a keen interest in the study of language. It also trains your ear for correct reception, and encourages team spirit and interaction among students and teachers through the use of a foreign language.
The tools and strategies used vary depending on the age group and the activities proposed. Importance is given to those activities that foster interactive communication, and production of oral messages.
The primary educational objective is the use of foreign language as a means of understanding and communication.
