La liberté commence où l’ignorance finit. (Victor Hugo)

French is a Romance language spoken on all continents. It is the official language of the European Union, the UNO, UNESCO, NATO, OECD, the IOC and the International Red Cross, and about 30 states.

In Italy, it plays a fairly important role, not only in terms of geographical proximity. In fact, France is the second country that imports Italian products and vice versa; there are over 800 branches of French companies in Italy and the Italian companies that work with France and vice versa are very numerous. Furthermore, in an Italian region (Valle d’Aosta), French is a co-official language with Italian. Since 2010, ESABAC has also entered into force as a new educational device on both sides of the Alps to simultaneously achieve two diplomas starting from a single exam – the Italian State Exam and the French Baccalauréat.

Our French courses, in-house or distance, prepare you to reach all levels of language knowledge with highly qualified mother tongue or bilingual teachers.

Certify French

As with other European languages, it is possible to certify your level of competence in French through examinations DELF and DALF.
DELF certifications (Diplôme d’études en langue française) are available for CEFR levels A1, A2, B1 and B2. For levels C1 and C2, DALF certifications are available (Diplôme approfondi de langue française). Both DELF and DALF are promoted by Instituts Français and it is possible to take the exam in authorized venues.

Language Point prepares students to successfully obtain French language certifications.
